Complete guide to creating, managing, and optimizing your crypto advertising campaigns on BitoCircle

Version 2.0 - Updated November 2025

1. Campaigns

The Campaigns section is where you create and manage all ads. Use the search and status filter (Active / Inactive) and the date-range selector (7D / 28D / 3M / 1Y) to view performance across time.

Create New Ad Campaign – Overview

The ad creation is a single-page form that provides a real-time preview of your ad on the right. Fill all required fields to enable the Create Campaign button.

Required Fields

  • Campaign Name – descriptive name (e.g., "Summer Launch – US")
  • Campaign Type – current option: Use a Sponsored Post (create a sponsored post from scratch)
  • Campaign Description – brief text (up to 255 characters)

Media & Creative

Choose either a Single Image/Video or a Carousel (2–6 items). Accepted types and limits:

  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF – up to 5MB
  • Video: MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI – up to 15MB
Pro Tip: Use high-resolution images (recommended 1080×1080 for square or 1200×628 landscape). Videos should be short (15–30s).

CTA and URLs

Select a Call to Action (CTA) label, add the Call to action URL, and optionally add a separate Website URL. Use UTM parameters for tracking source & campaign.

Ad Headline & Preview

Add an Ad Headline (up to 100 characters). The right-side preview updates as you type – verify copy, media and CTA before creating the campaign.

Submission & Review

Click Create Campaign to submit. The campaign will enter review and appear in the Campaigns list with status: In Review, Active, or Paused. Rejected campaigns show an error message with the rejection reason.

2. Audiences

Create audiences to target your ads. The Audiences module includes an AI assistant called PayBito Whizzo to suggest targeting automatically.

Audience Creation Fields

  • Campaign Type – link this audience to a campaign type
  • Name of the Audience – required for reuse
  • Who would you like to show your post to? – optional prebuilt segments
  • Interested in – keyword list (e.g., NFT, Trading, DeFi)
  • Gender – Any / Women / Men
  • Age – All Ages or Specific Range
  • Select Country – geo-target by country
  • Operating System – All / iOS / Android / Desktop
Audience Estimate: The right-hand panel shows estimated daily reach. Narrow targeting reduces reach but increases relevancy.

Targeting Best Practices

Geographic

Target specific countries, regions, or cities. Exclude jurisdictions where you cannot operate.

Demographics

Fine-tune by age range (18-65+), gender, and language preferences.

Interests

Layer interests like DeFi, NFTs, Trading, and Web3 Gaming for precision targeting.

Device

Optimize for iOS, Android, Desktop, or all platforms.

3. Spend Caps

Create daily spend caps to limit how much is spent per day across campaigns.

Create a Daily Spend Cap

  • Name – e.g., "Daily Cap – US Launch"
  • Spend Cap Amount – select currency (B$ shown as USD) and enter amount. Example: USD • 10 = 10 B$ per day
Note: Assign spend caps to campaigns at publish time or when editing an existing campaign to enforce daily limits.

4. Publish Campaign

The Publish Campaign screen lists campaigns that can be launched. Assign audiences and spend caps here and set optional end dates before publishing.

Publishing Checklist

Item Status Description
Campaign Created Campaign exists in "In Review" status
Campaign Approved Campaign passed review and shows "Active"
Audience Selected Target audience configured
Spend Cap Assigned Daily or lifetime budget cap set
End Date Optional Set end date or leave for continuous run

5. Campaign Insights

Insights provides status filtering (Active / Inactive) and date selectors to help analyze campaign performance. Use the Create buttons to jump from insights into action.

Key Metrics

  • Impressions – times your ad was shown
  • Clicks – clicks received
  • CTR – click through rate
  • CPC / CPM – cost metrics
  • Conversions – requires pixel/SDK

Reading Your Performance

8. Troubleshooting & FAQs

App shows "enable JavaScript"

The Ad Center is a JavaScript single-page app. Use a modern browser and disable extensions that block scripts (ad blockers, privacy extensions) during use.

Campaign stuck in review

Check creative file sizes and policy compliance. If unresolved, contact Support with the campaign ID from the Campaigns screen.

Pixel not tracking conversions

Verify the pixel is installed correctly on the landing page and not blocked by cookie consent or ad blockers.

High CPM / Low CTR

Refresh creative assets every 2 weeks to combat ad fatigue. Test new headlines and imagery to improve relevance.

Budget spent too quickly

Switch to standard delivery (not accelerated), narrow your audience targeting, or implement bid caps to control daily spend.
